About 6stringdeals

As working guitar players and bassists, we grow tired of reading reviews that are simply trying to sell us guitars. We are also tired of spending thousands of dollars for certain brands…

I suffer from a guitar addiction and would love to have a knowledgeable source on what, where and how much, for something new- and who is better to tell me? Other guitarists…

The idea is to have real guitarists/bassists review the guitars they play… The non-Gibson, fenders, etc…( I have no issue with these great American guitars- I have owned several, and currently own a Fender tele…however I cannot afford them!)

In my opinion there are a huge number of quality guitars out there that are road-ready, attractive and most importantly- affordable. I just don’t have time to research what and where they are. I also know I am not unique in this….

SO, If you have any guitars/basses that fit the bill and would like to review them, please let me know.

Sign up for the email list on the site to see what other people have reviewed…Please spread the word so we can build the distribution and group of reviewers!

the more reviews and readers we have- the better the knowledge base of good, affordable guitars. So when we have some hard earned cash to spend on a new toy- we will know what will be worth the money…AND where to get it.

Drop me a line if you have a review to share

Hi there, I’m sure you’ve seen it but Fender have just put out a new range of pawn shop guitars. I just picked up a 72 thinline in surf green for $650. Japanese made and the quality is great. I think that is fantastic value… love the blog. Cheers Simon

they are cool, however I try to highlight the companies that don’t have the marketing muscle of the Fenders, Gibsons, etc…
that said, I would like to play one soon.
THanks for reading- spread the word, or if you have any guitars you would like to review- send’em over
